Unfortunately, companies already have killed many people with defective, dangerous and/or improperly used products. Some are addressed without any accountability/recourse, some with individual payments/settlements and some with class action payments/settlements. In virtually all cases, industries survive — often even if they were acting in bad faith. If google isn’t acting in bad faith, then they’ll likely be fine.
