I’m not trying say I know the answers at all. This was my attempt at playing out the extensions of what I perceive to be the current trajectories. And, I don’t think I’m overly optimistic at all — I’m scared to death about the potential human impact of adoption of technology like this. I forget the number, but in many US states, the most common job is driver. Automated vehicles, even if they come to the market over more slowly than I expect, will be very disruptive. And, the unintended consequences could be profound.
